Acting as a Life Skill

Monday 1st July

10:00am - 3:00pm

160 Aitken St, Gisborne

Through the Arts we learn about the world and ourselves. With a 90-min specialised acting skills program lead by staff from the Williamstown Musical Theatre Company, participants will be supported to experience positive outcomes from social and physical interaction. Through the process of acting with others, each participant will explore ways to grow their confidence to be true to who they are and how they can try new things, even when nervous.

After the acting skills session, participants will collaborate in small groups having a go at theatre games, improvisation and role plays with costumes, props and puppets to ease participation.

This program is capped at 12 participants with 6 staff in attendance (1:2 ratio)

Cost: $495.00 (5hr program)
